Artist's Statement: I create original paintings from an idea that forms in my mind. The result is a stylized image rather than a realistic reproduction. The images are rendered using vivid color & strong value contrasts to draw the viewer into the painting. My objective is to offer a relatable, distilled experience to the viewer. I’ve been showing my work since 2003 in local gallery settings & juried shows.
Commission Work includes several private individuals, organizational logo designs, and representational paintings for a literary website.
